Please note that whilst we endeavour to print to your ordered size, on occasions a photograph
works at its best at a certain aspect ratio, for example a 10" x 8" may crop better as
a 10" x 7". When this happens, we will print it in the better size unless requested otherwise.
We offer beautiful hand-framed prints, multi-prints, box-framed prints, and New York-style canvases which come on a unique
frameless mount.
All our frames finishes are available in every size and come with double mounted white or
cream card, with or without black beading.

How to Book and Schedule of Events
The Booking
If you would like to go ahead and make a booking with us to photograph your wedding day,
please complete the Wedding Photography Contract, Terms, Conditions and Booking Form,
file downloadable below. In addition, please complete the Additional Information Form
as best you can at this stage – it can always be updated nearer the time,
also downloadable below. Once we have both signed the Contract we will send you a
confirmation letter.
Pre-wedding Shoot
If you have a package which includes a pre-wedding shoot we will get in touch approximately
ten weeks before your wedding. Pre-wedding location shoots are in Hertfordshire on a weekday.
Your pictures will then be available to view at the pre-wedding meeting.
Pre-wedding Meeting
We will then contact you approximately four weeks before your wedding day to arrange a
pre-wedding meeting at which we will go through the order of the day. Pre-wedding meetings
are usually on a week day evening at our studio in Hertfordshire.
Balance Payment
Your balance payment is due fourteen days prior to your wedding day. You will be sent an invoice,
including any additional costs, including mileage, if appropriate. We do not charge for
mileage for weddings in Hertfordshire, Essex, Buckinghamshire or London.
Thank You Cards
If you have a package which includes Thank You cards we normally select an image
for you and have them printed and delivered whilst you are on your honeymoon, unless you
request otherwise.
Viewing and selecting images for your album
Once you return from your honeymoon we will send your proof album to you. If you would like
help selecting your album images you are welcome to visit our studio where we can project
your images to a large size and give you guidance.
Upload of photographs to the website
We will upload your images onto The Reportage Wedding Co website for you and your friends
and family to view. This normally takes approximately one week after you return from your
honeymoon and we will inform you when this is done.
Album Layout
Once you have made your final selection of photographs for your album we begin designing
the layout of your album. At this stage we will invite you into the studio to make any changes
and add your own input into the design layout. You can view your layout and your album images
using our overhead projector system. Your album will be dispatched to us within four to eight
weeks after ordering your album.
Wedding Photography Contract, Terms, Conditions and Booking Form
It is mutually agreed that the following terms of agreement form an integral part of this
contract and that no variation or modification of this contract shall be effective unless
accepted by both The Reportage Wedding Co and the client, in writing.
BOOKING DEPOSIT
A deposit of £400 is required at the time of booking, together with a signed contract.
Dates are reserved only when this deposit is paid by cash, cheque, credit or debit card.
Please make cheques payable to The Reportage Wedding Co. An unconditional refund policy
exists for a period of 14 days from receipt of this contract and payment.
BALANCE PAYMENT
The balance payment, as stated on the booking confirmation letter from the Reportage Wedding Co,
is to be made not later than 14 days prior to the Wedding Ceremony. Payment for additional
album photographs, prints & frames is made after the wedding at the time of ordering.
FEES
The deposit and balance payment make up the fee and includes all photography and your package
of choice as confirmed on the booking confirmation letter from the Reportage Wedding Co.
Prices for wedding reprints are available on our website. Travel is included within London,
Hertfordshire, Essex and Buckinghamshire, otherwise travel is charged at 35p per mile.
Other expenses, as agreed, such as hotel, flights, etc will be charged at cost.
CREATIVE LICENCE
The Reportage Wedding Co shall be granted creative and artistic licence in relation to
the choice of locations and poses used. The Reportage Wedding Co's judgement on photographic
style and the number of photographs taken shall be deemed correct. Some photographs may not
be possible due to changes of the weather and the availability and willingness of subjects.
The Reportage Wedding Co will do their best to honour requested photographs but do not
undertake to guarantee any specific picture nor incorporate any specific background,
location or group arrangement.
COPYRIGHT
The 1998 Copyright, Designs, and Patents Act assigns copyright to The Reportage Wedding Co.
You may not copy the photographs taken under this contract, or allow copies to be made
photographically, electronically, or by any other means. This is a standard condition for
most professional photographers.
EXCLUSIVITY
The Reportage Wedding Co shall be the sole professional (still) photographers at the venues
specified. We do however positively encourage family, friends, and other guests to take
photographs throughout the day.
FORCE MAJEURE
In the unlikely event of total photographic failure, injury or sickness beyond the Reportage
Wedding Co’s control, their liability shall be limited to a full refund of all monies paid.
Your statutory rights are not affected. The Reportage Wedding Co have full Public Liability,
and Professional Indemnity Insurance.
CANCELLATION
If The Reportage Wedding Co have to cancel this contract for reasons beyond their control
(death, injury, sickness, etc), their liability shall be limited to a full refund of all
monies paid. If the client cancels this contract after a period of 14 days from the date of
signing the contract, the following charges apply as a percentage of the total fee due as
compensation for loss of income for The Reportage Wedding Co:

Should the cancelled wedding turn out to be a postponement, then, subject to The Reportage
Wedding Co's availability, all monies paid may be applied to the new wedding. In this case,
the total fees chargeable shall be the fee which applies at that time. In the event that
The Reportage Wedding Co take another wedding booking for your cancelled or postponed date
a full unconditional refund of your deposit and monies paid shall be made.
COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE
Please address any complaints to The Reportage Wedding Co either by email, telephone or fax
as per our contact details below. We will endeavour to respond to any complaint within 2
working days of receipt.
PRIVACY
The Reportage Wedding Co will store your name and wedding details on a private internal database.
These details will not be made available to third parties. Should you wish to have your details removed from
our database, please advise us in writing to the address below.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What happens when we make a booking?
Upon receipt of your deposit, we will need the wedding schedule so that we can discuss the details. This is extremely
helpful when we need to obtain permission to photograph inside churches and registry offices.
- Will you meet us before the wedding day?
We like to meet every couple well in advance to discuss their particular requirements.
- When is the best time for the photographer to arrive?
Usually we arrive more than an hour before the ceremony to capture the wedding preparations.
- What about group pictures and formal shots?
We will shoot a small number of group pictures and formal shots in the normal course of events, but we feel that this
is not in our general style for a reportage wedding shoot; this minimises the interruptions to the proceedings.
- What are the advantages of having a second photographer?
This ensures that all the activities of your wedding are covered without compromising quality and allows a second
angle, which often becomes the favourite picture, to be taken.
- What format of camera do you use?
We use professional high-resolution digital cameras. This means we can offer you a choice of colour or black and white
prints.
- How many pictures do you take?
We will take far in excess of the number of pictures quoted in the prices section. We then select the very best for
your proof album.
- What time will you leave?
Within reason, we like to leave after the first few dances and the cutting of the wedding cake.
- Will the photographer require refreshments?
Arrangements should be made for the photographers to have a meal. This does not have to be with the guests but can be
in the kitchen if need be.
- Do you work nationwide?
Yes, we work anywhere in the mainland U.K. and we can undertake overseas commissions.
- How many pictures do couples usually choose for their final album?
Between 50 and 120, but sometimes more, depending on the size of the wedding.
- How do we get to see the photographs?
You will be sent a proof album, bringing together all the shots from the day for you to keep. Your wedding pictures
will also be hosted on our web site, which is the quickest and easiest way of showing them to your family and friends.
- How do we get to design our album?
You will be invited to our studio for a design consultation - we can spend a morning or afternoon with you. We will go
through your photos and help you select an album before planning how it will be laid out with our virtual album
software.
- How long will it take to receive our album?
Usually eight weeks after we have designed it with you.
- How will we receive our album?
We will either hand-deliver it if local or courier it to you for no extra charge within the mainland U.K.
- How will friends and family be able to view and order reprints?
Reprints are available through this website.
- Why do parent album prints and reprints offer such good value?
All the editing and creative work will have been done already so we can offer parent album prints at a discounted price
using the same high quality materials.
- Do you keep a record of each wedding?
Yes, we make two copies which are stored at separate locations. Reprints can then be ordered for years to come.
